Set Up Telegram Notifications

Get push notifications from Clearmargin directly in Telegram. One-click setup — no tokens or configuration needed.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Telegram.
2. Click "Connect Telegram" — a link to the ClearmarginBot will open in Telegram.
3. Tap "Start" in the Telegram chat to connect your account.
4. Back in Clearmargin, select which events to receive (grouped by category).
5. Click "Save Settings", then "Send Test" to verify.

How It Works

Clearmargin sends notifications directly to your Telegram chat via the ClearmarginBot. All notifications go to the same chat — there's no channel routing like Slack or Discord since Telegram uses a single conversation.

Disconnecting

Click "Disconnect" in the Telegram settings page. The bot will send a farewell message and stop all notifications. You can reconnect at any time.
