Export for Taxes

Download financial data in formats compatible with tax preparation tools.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Exports (/dashboard/settings/exports).
2. Select the export format: CSV (universal), QuickBooks Online CSV, QuickBooks Desktop IIF, or Tax Summary.
3. Choose a time period using a preset (Q1–Q4, Full Year, Last Year, Last 3 Months, Last 12 Months) or a custom date range.
4. Click "Download" to generate and save the file.
5. The Tax Summary format includes a P&L with quarterly breakdown, estimated tax payments, 1099 vendor tracking, and sales tax collected.
6. Configure estimated tax rate and quarterly deadlines in Settings > Organization > Tax tab.
