Create an API Key

Generate an API key for programmatic access to your Clearmargin data.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > API Keys (/dashboard/settings/api-keys).
2. Click "Create API Key".
3. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Zapier Integration", "Internal Tools").
4. Select permissions — use "Read Only" for read access or "Full Access" for read+write. You can also customize per resource.
5. Click "Create Key".
6. Copy the key immediately — it will not be shown again.
7. Use the key in the Authorization header: Bearer sk_live_...
