Configure Tax Categories

Customize tax categories used to classify catalog items for tax reporting.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Tax Categories (/dashboard/settings/tax-categories).
2. View the default seeded categories (services, goods, digital, reimbursement).
3. Click "Add Category" to create a custom tax category.
4. Edit existing categories to change name or description.
5. Assign a tax category to a catalog item when creating or editing it in Charges or Expenses.
6. Tax category assignments appear in tax exports for accurate categorization.
