Customize tax categories used to classify catalog items for tax reporting.
Customize tax categories used to classify catalog items for tax reporting.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Tax Categories
(/dashboard/settings/tax-categories). - View the default seeded categories (services, goods, digital, reimbursement).
- Click "Add Category" to create a custom tax category.
- Edit existing categories to change name or description.
- Assign a tax category to a catalog item when creating or editing it in Charges or Expenses.
- Tax category assignments appear in tax exports for accurate categorization.
