Configure Material Categories

Set up categories for recipe materials with default markup multipliers.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Material Categories (/dashboard/settings/material-categories).
2. View existing categories.
3. Click "Add Category" to create a new material category.
4. Set a name and a default markup multiplier (e.g., 1.5 for 50% markup).
5. Drag to reorder categories.
6. Categories appear when adding components to a recipe. The default markup cascades: component override > category default > 1×.
7. Configure label terminology ("Product"/"Material") in Settings > Organization.
