Track costs as expense transactions.

Steps

  1. Go to "Expenses" in the sidebar (/dashboard/expenses).
  2. Click "New Expense" to create a cost transaction.
  3. Select or create an expense catalog item.
  4. Set the amount, date, and description.
  5. Assign scope: project (direct cost), shared (split across projects), or overhead.
  6. For project-scoped expenses, select the project to assign to.
