Set Up Payment Schedules

Create installment-based payment plans for projects.

Steps

1. Open a project detail page (/dashboard/projects/[id]).
2. Scroll to the "Payment Schedule" section.
3. Click "Add Payment Schedule" or "Use Template".
4. Choose a template (50/50, 30/40/30) or create a custom schedule.
5. Set installment amounts (fixed, percentage, or remainder) and due dates.
6. Due dates can be relative to proposal acceptance or fixed calendar dates.
7. Save the schedule — it auto-generates draft invoices for each installment as they come due.
8. To create reusable templates, go to Settings > Payment Schedules (/dashboard/settings/payment-schedules).
