Create a configurable inquiry form for prospective clients to send you leads — embeddable on your Clearmargin website OR your own external site.
Create a configurable inquiry form for prospective clients to send you leads. The form embeds on your Clearmargin website (if you have one) AND can be dropped into any external site you already have.
Steps
- Go to Settings > Inquiry Form (
/dashboard/settings/inquiry-form). - Toggle the inquiry form to "enabled".
- Choose a unique URL slug (e.g., "sarah-photography") — this becomes your inquiry URL.
- Write a welcome message visitors will see above the form.
- Optionally enable calendar availability hints (warns when a preferred date may conflict with your schedule).
- Add custom questions to qualify leads (text, date, select, phone, address — up to 10).
- Set a notification email (defaults to the org owner).
- Save — your form is live at
clearmargin.app/inquire/[your-slug]. - Share the link, drop a button on your site, or embed the form directly with the embed snippet.
- Submissions create inquiries in your pipeline at
/dashboard/inquiries— track each lead from new through to converted.
Why this isn't a "booking" form
The inquiry form is for collecting leads, not taking orders. Prospects describe what they need; you review, qualify, and send a formal proposal. This keeps you in control of pricing instead of committing to a fixed rate before understanding the scope.
