Set Up Payment Schedules

Create installment-based payment plans for projects.

Steps

  1. 1Open a project detail page /dashboard/projects/[id].
  2. 2Scroll to the "Payment Schedule" section.
  3. 3Click "Add Payment Schedule" or "Use Template".
  4. 4Choose a template (50/50, 30/40/30) or create a custom schedule.
  5. 5Set installment amounts (fixed, percentage, or remainder) and due dates.
  6. 6Due dates can be relative to proposal acceptance or fixed calendar dates.
  7. 7Save the schedule — it auto-generates draft invoices for each installment as they come due.
  8. 8To create reusable templates, go to Settings > Payment Schedules /dashboard/settings/payment-schedules.
